The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be submitted beginning October 1.  All seniors should have completed and submitted your FAFSA online.  Visit fafsa.gov TODAY  NOTE: Be sure to choose the correct College year:  2017-2018; you will begin college 7/1/17 - 6/30/18.  Be sure to check your colleges' website for their financial aid deadlines.  Do not wait any longer to submit your FAFSA application - they may run out of funds!

Current Scholarship/Essay Contest for all students ages 16 -18:  Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. Visitors to the Varsity Tutors scholarship webpage are able to vote via social media for submitted entries. The top five entries with the most votes are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner is subsequently chosen to receive the $1,000 college scholarship. ARMENIAN RELIEF SOCIETY OF WESTERN USA, INC. is offering a $500 scholarship to graduating seniors.  Applicants must be of Armenian-American descent, 3.5 or above GPA, active in school and community, attending community college or 4-yr university/college.
This is not an online application process.  Two letters of recommendation required and your official transcript.  See Mrs. Bondy today for the simple 2-page application.  Application must be postmarked on or before May 5, 2017. 

The Mahin and Saifulla Salemy High School Scientific Scholarship - $1,000 - offered by Shahram Salemy, MD FACS, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Seattle Washington.  For graduating seniors who have an interest in the sciences.  Visit:  www.drsalemy.com/scholarship for the application and all requirements. You will complete their written application, personal statement, provide three(3) references, and be interviewed by their selection committee.  Application Deadline:  May 31, 2017.

Horatio Alger Association of distinguished Americans, Inc. is offering a Career & Technical Scholarship (award up to $2500 each) for students who have financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity.  Applicants must also be Pell Grant eligible, US Citizens, and have a commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical certificate/degree.  Apply online  Click here
