USC Wrigley Marine Science Center – Catalina Island is looking for high school students interested ocean sciences to attend a one-week, summer science program from July 6-13, 2017. Selected students come from all over the United States to USC, then spend a week on Catalina Island at USC's field station. The ideal candidate is interested in ocean sciences, willing to share their experience back in their community and ready for an adventure. First in family to attend college and those under-represented in STEM fields encouraged to apply Travel and program costs are provided, students need to apply and include a letter of reference from a teacher.
