Scholastic Bowl:  Students, parents, and staff…Come to the 2017 Scholastic Bowl Competition on Tonight!!!, March 6, 7:00 p.m. in the Glendale High Auditorium.  Be there to show your Panther Price and cheer for our Clark Magnet team as they compete against CV, Hoover, and Glendale High Schools this annual competition!

Applications for ASB and Class Office for 2017-2018 are available online.

Please have one team member on game day come and pick up enrichment passes during lunch in the gym from Ms. Hutchinson. Teams that do not get enrichment passes will forfeit game.

Glendale Community College Information

GCC Rep on campus at lunch on Wednesdays- 3/8, 3/15, 3/19…mark your calendar-more dates to follow.

Seniors – GCC Scholars Program - Program director and college representatives will be on campus during lunch on Friday 3/31/17.  You do not have to wait for the presentation – you can apply to the program now!  If you apply before April 1 and are accepted you will have PRIORITY registration in the fall.  For more information go to www.glendale.edu.

Coastal Marine Biolabs (CMB) cordially invites rising juniors and seniors to apply for participation in 2017 summer research institutes offered through the NeuroLab program, an education research project funded by a National Institutes of Health Science Education Partnership Award. Learn how scientists peer in to the nervous system and study the role of genes and gene products in establishing connectivity among neurons….more detailed program information and the application can be found on the NeuroLab website at:  www.NeuroLabSEPA.org (you will have to create a login account). Students are strongly encouraged to review the information contained on the NeuroLab website – and to discuss this opportunity with their parentsBEFORE initiating the online enrollment process.  Since enrollment is highly competitive, applications should be submitted well in advance of the start date of each institute.  CMB no longer accepts applications on a rolling basis.  The application deadline is just five weeks away, so interested students should apply immediately for consideration and NO LATER THAN April 1, 2017.    Decision notification: mid-May 2017.  STUDENTS WHO ARE ACCEPTED FOR ENROLLMENT RECEIVE A FULL TUITION WAIVER THAT COVERS THE COST OF MEALS AND LODGING.  OUT-OF-STATE STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TRAVEL COSTS TO AND FROM THE CMB LAB.
